Lisa is a lovely Beni M’Guild rug with short pile featuring faded peach and coral colors as background. The lavender diamond shape is featuring in it’s center the patterns of « Camel Foot Print » in light mint and grey. The camel foot print symbol is the most important one of the few rounded shapes used by the Berber in their design.
The tender color palette is not common for this type of rug which makes Lisa very interesting and unique carpet.
Berber rugs are a unique artwork of a woman.
Each rug tells a unique story, the relationship of the weaver with her work, her family, her roots. It’s infinite variations is the work of her freedom of mind.
